Greetings in everyday life
There are two ways to greet someone, and this depends on the degree of confidence or respect that you have to the person.
General greetings (Formal)
Formal Example:
An employee arrives late to work and greets the receptionist:
Receptionist: Hello Sr. Adams, you've come a little late.
Employee: I'm sorry about this Ms. Chambers, the traffic is horrible.
I trust that everything is well.
Receptionist: I also hope the same thing, good luck and good morning Sr. Adams.
Employee: Good morning to you Ms. Chambers.
Another little example is the phrase spoken by the character interpreted by Sergio Freire in the chilean film "Special Forces" ("3rd World Cops" in North America)
Good Morning, Good Afternoon!
General greetings (Formal)
- Hello! (¡Hola!)
- How are you? (¿Cómo estás?)
- How are you doing? (¿Cómo te va?)
- How is everything? (¿Cómo va todo?)
- How have you been keeping? (¿Cómo se ha mantenido?)
- I trust that everything is well. (Confio en que todo esté bien)
- Hi. (Hola)
- What’s up? (¿Qué tal?)
- Good to see you. (Es un gusto verte)
- How are things (with you)? (¿Cómo van las cosas?)
- How’s it going? (¿Cómo va todo?)
- How’s life been treating you? (¿Como te ha estado tratando la vida?)

"A" or "AN"?? Help me, Orange!
You must say "A" when the following word starts with a consonant
By the otrer way, you must use "AN" when the follwing word starts with a vowel
I know... It's BOOOOORIINGG! jajajajajajaja
Let me show a example and some exercises:
This is my best friend, even if he's a boring guy:
He's Pear... and yes, he is A pear.
With this, you must be ready for practice with my friends:
__ apple and __ knife
__ midget apple
__ marshmallow
__ avocado
He is __ egg. And that is __ box of eggs
And finally... this is __ iPhone. It's mine! But it's boring because their creator was __ apple :P
Well... it's all by today, kids. See you laters, you apples!
Ah... and here's the reason of everything about apples. Take it like a bonus track =)

BUT, TO EXPLAIN THE CONCEPT WE´LL USE THREE EXAMPLES:

A song for reanimate the dead and sick people
Tonight I'm gonna have myself a real good time
I feel alive and the world turning inside out Yeah!
And floating around in ecstasy
So don't stop me now don't stop me
'Cause I'm having a good time having a good time
I'm a shooting star leaping through the sky
Like a tiger defying the laws of gravity
I'm a racing car passing by like Lady Godiva
I'm gonna go go go
There's no stopping me
I'm burning through the sky Yeah!
Two hundred degrees
That's why they call me Mister Fahrenheit
I'm trav'ling at the speed of light
I wanna make a supersonic man out of you
Don't stop me now I'm having such a good time
I'm having a ball don't stop me now
If you wanna have a good time just give me a call
Don't stop me now ('cause I'm havin' a good time)
Don't stop me now (yes I'm havin' a good time)
I don't want to stop at all
