introduced in this chapter.
Also, we review the alphabet and the first Grammar note: verb “to be”.

Four: “What’s the word for this in English?”
This
chapter doesn’t show us a Grammar note, but I think it’s very important in case
of a… emergency. If we forgot a word, always we can use this sentence: “What’s
the word for this in English?” It’s better than “Profesor… ¿cuál es
la palabra para esto?” in the middle of a conversation or presentation.
Also, we
have another sentence: “Can I borrow your (noun)?” and alternatives for saying
“Thanks” and “I’m sorry”

This chapter introduces us into the countable and uncountable nouns.
With this, the ways to use “how many __” for countable nouns, and for the
uncountable nouns, “How much__”
Also, the phrases “On average” and “A lot”
This is also reinforcement
for the Routines chapter.
